International School’s  third “Gastronomic Sampler,” held on Valentine’s Day

 February 2009

 

International School held its third “Gastronomic Sampler” on February 13, 2009, with a Valentine’s Day theme. The luncheon offered parents an opportunity to gather with their children and fellow families and socialize while supporting a great cause: our school! Tasty main courses and delicious desserts were sold in benefit of International School. Delicacies donated by parents included chiles rellenos, enchiladas, assorted salads, pollo con mole, and other typical dishes, as well as a variety of sweets to finish up the meal. While the parents conversed, most of the children enjoyed the extra free time with their classmates, playing on the grounds and even organizing a baseball game. Thanks to everyone’s participation, the school raised 3,100 pesos.
