EARTH DAY

April 2009

 

International School staff and students took to the streets of Cuernavaca on April 22, 2009, to raise awareness about Earth Day and the sad state of the environment. Big and small marched the lengthy distance from the school to the main city square carrying signs in both English and Spanish about specific issues. After a snack and talking with members of the media, the children walked back to school—this time uphill! Not only did they do some important awareness-raising work, but they got a major workout!
