International School’s 2nd annual “Gastronomic Sampler,” held on Valentine’s Day

International School’s 2nd annual “Gastronomic Sampler,” held on Valentine’s Day, was a great success. Parents donated prepared food from around the world to raise funds for the school. According to Balbina Muñoz, who came up with the idea last year as a means to earn some money for the school, this year’s sales of the donated dishes generated some 4,000 pesos to go toward administrative needs, such as computers for the office.

 

The event, in any case, offered a festive way to celebrate love and friendship. Aside from the food, there was music and a corner where students could get hitched, if so inclined, replete with mock marriage licenses and toy rings. Love was definitely in the air!
